Company History
Maffra Trenching and Boring was formed by Mark Hunt who, while working as a licensed plumber and gas-fitter, saw the opportunity to venture into a business which could offer a quality service in a field of work that was associated with his experience.
Since its inception some thirty years ago, the company has grown in equipment and personnel to match the impressive scale of work that it now performs. Sound business operations and best management practices, combined with a high level of integrity and honesty, have contributed to the growth of the company.
MTB has made considerable effort to complete all relevant training courses thus ensuring the safety of all personnel and operations and ultimately, the satisfaction of customers with the final product. In addition the company has embraced the principles of the Australian 9000 series quality standards and incorporates elements of these standards into its operations.
A large percentage of work performed by the company in the past has been for Telstra and the Gas and Fuel Corporation. The strict requirements of these parties have always been met and both companies have been consistently pleased with the standard of work performed.
Maffra Trenching & Boring have always had a focus on team work, both within their own organisation and with the clients for whom they work. Every effort is made to develop a mutually beneficial relationship with all clients so the common goal is achieved.
